"Gazprom" has reduced the pumping of gas through Ukraine

"Gazprom" has reduced the pumping of gas through Ukraine to 39.4 million cubic meters.

"Gazprom" has reduced the transit of gas to Europe through Ukraine. This follows from the pumping data for April 21 and 22 provided by the company.

On April 21, 42.6 million cubic meters were supplied through the Sudzha gas measuring station. m of gas. For April 22, it is planned to supply 39.4 million cubic meters. The application for pumping through the GIS "Sokhanovka" was rejected by the Ukrainian side on both days.

In January, Gazprom reduced, and in February it gradually increased pumping. For example, on February 1, the volume of transit through the Sudzha GIS amounted to 29.4 million cubic meters. m compared to 24.5 million cubic meters. m January 31st. On February 15, Gazprom reported that 35.3 million cubic meters were supplied through Sudzha. m, 14.6% more than the day before.

On April 16, the volume of transit reached 38.5 million cubic meters. m. The next day it rose to 40.8 million cubic meters. m.

The transit line through Ukraine remains the only route for Russian gas supplies to the countries of Western and Central Europe. At the same time, in the spring of last year, the “GTS Operator of Ukraine” warned about the impossibility of pumping through the Sohranivka GIS, explaining this by the fact that the station is located in the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) under the control of Russian forces.

Gazprom also supplies gas via Turkish Stream and Blue Stream to the countries of Southern and South-Eastern Europe.

Transit through the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline was stopped in March last year. Pumping through the Nord Stream was completely stopped after the explosion on the gas pipeline at the end of last September.
