“The point is that nutrition for the elderly should be balanced and functional,” she said in an interview with Nation News.

In particular, the expert advice is to add fish to the diet, for example, sprat, cod, and mackerel. It is advisable to eat pork and chicken no more than twice a week.

“Protein foods should be eaten 50 g in the morning, 150 g in the afternoon - and 200 g of vegetables. It is best to include cottage cheese in the diet. It is worth eating twice a week for 100 g at a time. We eat vegetables with a low level of glycemic, content - these are broccoli, cabbage, carrots and raw beets, celery, ”Mukhina listed.

She also noted that it is equally important to eat cereals cooked with water, as well as nuts containing healthy fats.

Earlier, nutritionist Anna Belousova, in an interview with NSN, spoke about the beneficial properties of coffee. In particular, she stated that there are no calories in such a drink.
