Head of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Danilov rejected the idea of negotiations and demanded to give the Armed Forces of Ukraine more weapons

Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC), rejected the idea of peaceful negotiations to resolve the Ukrainian conflict and also demanded that the West send more weapons to Kyiv. He wrote about this on his Facebook (the owner of Meta is recognized as an extremist in Russia and banned).

Danilov called "pro-Russian peacemaking" the initiatives for a peaceful settlement, which have been discussed recently. According to him, Ukraine does not need to be "constantly put at the negotiating table."

“Give us enough weapons,” the NSDC secretary said.

He added that weapons are "the best mediator".

Earlier, The Washington Post, citing classified American intelligence documents leaked to the Internet, wrote that the Pentagon Intelligence Agency considers it unlikely that peace talks between Russia and Ukraine will begin in 2023.

Before this, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the United States does not allow Kyiv to conduct peace talks with Moscow, intending this way to "exhaust" Russia.
